Kensington Academy of English, London

(KAE) is a British Council Accredited English Language school. As part of David Game College, we have been teaching since 1978. Over the years, we have seen thousands of foreign and international students improve their English language skills.

There are a range of courses for all learners, from beginner to advanced. Whether you want to learn English for work, for future studies or just for fun, we can help. We are able to focus on any area of spoken or written English. For those that need to improve quickly, we have short, intensive courses. We can also offer a choice of slower courses for those with more time.

General English Courses

intensive course is great for those that need to improve quickly. Students will learn how to use English clearly and accurately within a short period.

This semi-intensive course combines accuracy with fluency. In the mornings, students will increase their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. In the afternoons, there are classes focused on improving communication skills.

This course helps you improve your grammar and accuracy. Students will learn how to develop their vocabulary by speaking, listening, reading and writing.

This is a new course aimed at students who want to take our GE15 course but need the flexibility to study in the afternoons. This course helps you improve your grammar and accuracy.

Levels: 3 levels from Pre-Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate

These courses are ideal for students wishing to combine group lessons (maximum class size is 15) with 5 hours of One-to-One tuition in order to maximise their language learning.

2. Business English Plus General English Course

Business English Course is great for anyone that wants to use English for work. Many professionals and business students take this course to improve their skills and prospects.

3. Exam Preparation Courses Plus General English

General English and IELTS exam preparation course is a combination course which runs all year around for students of intermediate level and above. In the morning classes you practise grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, speaking, pronunciation and writing in a communicative environment using a set course book. Your progress in these classes is measured through weekly, mid-course and end of course test.

4. Private English Lessons

With one-to-one private English lessons, you can choose what you want to study. Experienced English language tutors will help you to make a plan based on your goals and timescale. You can choose any number of lessons and we will try to arrange them around your schedule.

5. Teenage Programme

Our teenage programme is an interactive project based course where the students work together on fun and interesting tasks, which allow them to practise their English as well as show how creative they can be. Over the course the students will have many opportunities to speak, listen and write in English through a series of different, engaging projects. In the classes the students will work on creating something new such as a school magazine or a product.

The Teenage Programme may be taken as course only or for an additional price social programme activities can be included. Weekend activities are only included in the course and social programme package price.

6. Family Programme

family course is perfect for families who want to spend some time in the heart of London and improve their language skills.Parents and teenagers can study in morning classes where they will get lots of opportunities to practise their English and make new friends in an exciting and communicative environment.

In the afternoons parents can choose to participate in our varied adult social programme, while the teenagers take part in our fun and educational excursions and workshops.
