LOCATION

Rendcomb is a typical English country village immersed in the world famous Cotswolds, situated ten minutes north of Cirencester and about twenty minutes from the beautiful period towns of Cheltenham and Gloucestershire. Located within a beautiful park of more than 230 acres, Rendcomb College was founded in 1920 by Frederick Noel Hamilton Wills to help non-previlege students.
Rendcomb College is made up of five buildings housing more than 150 beds. There are single rooms, or four to five bedded rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Each building has a large common area, with television, billiards/ ping pong tables and comfortable sofas. The School offers a fantastic outdoor swimming pool with lifeguard, a sports hall, tennis, football pitch, a small golf course (two holes) and a deer park. Classes are located in the majestic main building of the school, all equipped with projectors, computers, large windows and high ceilings.
The 13 nights course at Rendcomb is extensive with Trinity UK excursions and activities arranged; four half days (Cheltenham Spa, Gloucestershire and two visits to Cirencester) and full day tours to Royal Bath Spa and London respectively.

COURSE

Fifteen hours of lessons per week guaranteed. On a two week programme, the lessons are in the morning one week and in the afternoon the other. In the morning or afternoon when the students are not in lessons we have the FTTS – Full Time Tutoring System. FTTS is a complete cross-curricular timetable of activities and is staffed with
our Activity Leaders. Again this year we will have a special Area Project regarding the introduction to the world of work. Activities consist of a variety of sports, 3 project classes/activities per week ending in a project show and alternative activites based on student interests!
If students are not so keen on sport there is Just Dance!, crafts and conversational activities. There are different activities each evening which are great fun! Karaoke, Chocolate & Pijama Party, Medieval Night, Scavenger Hunt, Talent Show and lots more. Two holes golf course surrounded by a fantastic woods… the perfect place for a pleasant walk and there are benches for those who simply wish to relax, chat and admire the surroundings.
