Summer School EC in Frensham

LOCATION

Frensham Heights Campus is surrounded by lush green countryside and features a pool, performing arts centre and high-tech classrooms equipped with the latest learning technology.  It is the perfect place for first time travellers to enjoy beautiful British countryside and a typical English-style boarding school filled with years of tradition. Classes are held on-campus, and the activity programme makes the most of the great school facilities offering activities such as swimming, tennis, basketball, football and performing arts. Students aged 13-17 can also take part in our Leadership Premium Programme.

COURSE

English Course

General English – 20 lessons (15 hours) per week. The course will help improve English language skills by focusing on the key areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. A strong focus is placed on speech and using the language confidently and fluently.

Leadership Premium Programme

• Develop all four English language skills (Reading-Writing-Listening -Speaking) with the support of professional, qualified and friendly EC teachers
  • All lessons and activities work together and each week covers a different theme. What is learnt in class is linked with activities outside of the classroom, hence learners get to use and practise their skills every single day!
  • Tailor-made leadership lessons to help you build skills for a future career. You will be involved in games and exercises, recreating and re-running real interpersonal situation and using the learning of each day to create more positive outcomes.

ACCOMMODATION

Students on our Campus English programme stay at the Main House, an imposing Edwardian building with glorious views over the Surrey Countryside. It offers multi bed rooms and has two separate wings which are accessed by key pads. Roberts House is a wonderful self-contained building with single rooms. The accommodation has all the facilities students may need with communal areas to meet friends.
