Providing ideal conditions for a French and English language courses for young learners, the “Le Central-Résidence” course centre is located a stone’s throw away from Leysin’s main train station. It offers comfortable facilities that are perfectly suited to summer holidays in the Alps, including renovated classrooms, welcoming restaurants, a beautiful, sunny terrace and an indoor swimming pool as well as relaxation and games areas. The bedrooms, decorated in a typically Alpine style, can accommodate four students and are equipped with a private bathroom, television and telephone. There is also an experienced nurse on-site.
A varied social programme with shopping and sightseeing in Lausaunne and Montreux, and trips to Maison Cailler chocolate factory, Gruyères village, Aquaparc and more
For younger students, Alpadia Leysin-Juniors proposes French and English language classes that are animated and amusing. Teachers apply a methodology encompassing group exercises, games and simulations to engage and help you progress your language level. With the same structure as at all our camps, we propose Standard, Intensive or Standard + Private classes.
20 lessons per week
Every weekday benefit from three hours of language classes (4 lessons) in small groups with our motivating and dynamic teachers.
25 lessons per week
Benefit from an additional lesson per day, focussed mainly on oral communication and the development of common projects. Five extra lessons each week are ideal for gaining maximum benefit from your group classes and encourage rapid progress.
+ 5 lessons per week
In order to make maximum progress, benefit from an additional five private lessons of 45 minutes per week to reach your personal objectives. Rapid progress is the goal. Private lessons can only be combined with the Standard course.
Hotel
Every weekday afternoon, and on the weekends, our staff accompanies you on one of the many activities or excursions planned in the area. With a wide range of sportive, cultural and entertaining things to do, you will spend your time outside the classroom enjoying life away from your parents!
