COURSES

GENERAL ENGLISH

The school offers an exciting range of General English courses for all levels, from beginner to proficiency, and to suit different budgets. It also offers timetables that give you the flexibility to choose a course that best suits your needs from 1-36+ weeks (from 20 to 35 lessons per week).

BUSINESS ENGLISH

This course will develop your English skills and confidence for a variety of business contexts such as presentations, meetings and negotiations. The syllabus combines practical skills with business and industry specific language tailored to your needs so you make the right impact with your future clients and colleagues.

CAREER PREPARATION ACTIVITY

Stafford House offers you a global professional experience with the Career Preparation Activity. Develop your resume and interview skills and progress with confidence towards your career goals by spending time in an American company.

EXAM PREPARATION

All exam preparation courses cover the areas of your chosen exam in detail ensuring you learn the skills and English language through the use of past papers and exam technique to achieve exam success. Preparation courses available for Cambridge Exams, IELTS and TOEFL.

ONE-TO-ONE ENGLISH

Our One-to-One English courses can be completely tailor made according to your needs and objectives. This course is particularly useful for students who have a very particular need or for students who wish to learn very intensively.

ACCOMMODATION

Homestay
Living with an American family is a unique way to experience American traditions and culture. You will practice your English language skills with real Americans every day. If you would like to stay in a homestay, you are placed with a trusted family in the San Diego area. Each family is carefully screened and interviewed. The school offers single rooms or rooms with roommates. Families provide you with breakfast and dinner every week (14 meals). Most host families are located within 40-60 minutes of Stafford House Centers by public transportation.

Residences
When you choose to live in a Residence Club you will enjoy an independent living situation with an international atmosphere, dormitory-style housing and meal options or shared kitchen. Residence clubs also provide an opportunity to get to know students and travelers from all over the world.
