LAL Summer School, New York

New York is one of the world’s most famous cities a great place for studying the English Language. From the Statue of Liberty to the Empire State Building and Central Park, its attractions are well known. 45 million visitors come to the ‘Big Apple’ every year, to see the sights and soak up the atmosphere.

Undeniably the unofficial capital of the United States of America and home to the world’s most iconic symbol of freedom, the Statue of Liberty. New York is one of the world’s most exciting and vibrant cities with a variety of things to do and see.
LAL New York combines an innovative academic curriculum with an exciting leisure programme providing students with a real American experience in the city that never sleeps.The LAL Summer School in New York is on the premises of Fordham University and as such offers a traditional American campus setting in a city location, only 17 minutes from downtown Manhattan.

FUN-PACKED LEARNING
LAL will offer you a variety of sporting and non-sporting activities at our summer schools, regardless of its location. The activities will vary from school to school but some examples include treasure hunts, talent show, Karaoke, games and auction and quiz nights.
For the more sporty activities, mini Olympics could be on the calendar with dodgeball, rugby, quick cricket, football and many more. All schools hold a welcome disco or party on the student’s first day while on the last day, all summer schools hold a graduation ceremony with a farewell party.
Each week there will be an excursions to a variety of locations which will be either recreational, cultural, educational…or all three!.
ACCOMMODATION
Our summer school programmes also include accommodation. All LAL Summer Schools have on-site residence accommodation with a variety of room types, ranging from single to multi-bedded dormitories, depending on the school. Some rooms are en-suite while others share bathrooms with fellow students.
