Alpadia, Montreux-Riviera

LOCATION
Located in the heart of Montreux, close to the train station and just steps from the lovely promenades along Lake Geneva, this course centre is modern and welcoming.
Equipped with spacious and bright classrooms, free internet access, a fitness room and a cafeteria, where students can have lunch before the afternoon activities, the centre’s numerous, high-quality facilities make it an ideal location in which to learn French in Montreux. At this centre we offer accommodation with a host family for optimal language immersion.
COURSES
Standard 20
20 lessons per week
Every weekday benefit from three hours of language classes (4 lessons) in small groups with motivating and dynamic teachers.
Intensive 25
25 lessons per week
Benefit from an additional lesson per day, focussed mainly on oral communication and the development of common projects. Five extra lessons each week are ideal for gaining maximum benefit from your group classes and encourage rapid progress.
Private
+ 5 lessons per week
In order to make maximum progress, benefit from an additional five private lessons of 45 minutes per week to reach your personal objectives. Rapid progress is the goal. Private lessons can only be combined with the Standard course.
ACCOMMODATION
Host Family
Twin room
Alpadia Montreux-Riviera is the only camp that features host family accommodation. Placed in twin bedrooms, you will get a taste of local life by staying with a French-speaking family who help you progress with your language skills. You will share the bathroom and eat breakfast with the family in the morning. You will then make your way to class either by public transport or on foot.
ACTIVITIES
The amazing location of Alpadia Montreux-Riviera, by the lake and at the foot of the mountains, makes it possible for us to propose an abundance of thrilling activities. Every weekday afternoon time is dedicated to sportive, creative or cultural activities, giving you the chance to discover the region, enjoy yourself, get to know your fellow campers, have lots of fun and apply your French language skills outside the classroom.
Standard included activities
Thanks to the lakeside location, many leisure activities revolve around the water and beach. From a game of mini-golf to volleyball, from swimming to a traditional game of petanque, from shopping and sightseeing in Lausanne to speeding down waterslides at an amusement park, we will keep you active and engaged daily with our rich activity programme.
