Ranging from the old guard Smithsonian to relative newcomers like Newseum, there is a diversity here you won’t find anywhere else in the country. You can mix politics and culture by watching senators debate on Capitol Hill one day and taking in cultural sights the next! COURSES

General English

On the General English Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week, which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Price – 380$/week

Semi-Intensive English

This additional option is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. You get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week in General English plus four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study.

Price – 420$/week

ACCOMMODATION

Crystal Plaza Residence

Each apartment consists of two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable shared living area which features free wi-fi and cable TV. The bedrooms are either single or twin and there is 3 or 4 students per apartment. All bedrooms have desks and plenty of storage space. There are two full sized bathrooms in each apartment, one for each bedroom.

The residence also features an outdoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor patio with BBQ area, an indoor gym with free yoga classes, a small library, a study area with computers and a printer, and there is even free tea and coffee available in the lounge.

Homestay

Staying with a local family is both exciting and rewarding. Host families provide the best insight into how an American family leads their life. This interaction with a family helps you communicate better, faster and allows you to pick up words and phrases used in daily situations. All families are English speaking and are happy to share all of Washington’s cultural and traditional aspects with you!
