COURSES
General English
The general English language courses are based on a curriculum developed to help students improve their English
language skills and achieve academic success. Students will gain confidence and fluency in the areas of reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary. CEL offers 6 levels of general English language courses. Small classes (average of 6-7, maximum of 10 students per class) ensure that students benefit from individualized attention as teachers cater class material to their personal learning style. New courses start every Monday and each lesson is 45 minutes long.
Private
Our private lessons are the most effective method of learning English as the class is focused purely on your needs.
Lessons can be combined with General English as well.
Exam Programs
Cambridge Exam Preparation
CEL offers FCE and CAE exam preparation courses throughout the year. Students must be at the upper intermediate level to take the FCE prep course. Those interested in taking the CAE prep course must be at the advanced level. Cambridge exam prep classes are kept small (an average of 6 and a maximum of 10 students) so teachers can work one-on-one with students and use the best tools fit for each student’s learning style.
TOEFL
This standardized test measures the English-language ability of non-native speakers who are interested in attending English-speaking universities. The TOEFL preparation course allows students to focus exclusively on preparing for the exam. Experienced teachers provide students with test taking strategies, practice tests and the skills necessary to be successful on the TOEFL test.
