ALPADIA, Montreux

LOCАTION
This school in Montreux is on the main street on the edge of Lake Geneva. The beautiful promenade is surrounded by exotic plants, which help make this one of the most visited places in French-speaking Switzerland. You can easily reach the school from your accommodation by bus or train with stations only five minutes away on foot. The course centre has comfortable and bright classrooms, a cafeteria plus a fully-equipped kitchen and welcoming terraces where you can relax with friends. The size of Alpadia Montreux means that we are able to give students our personal attention and be there for you when you arrive and throughout your stay.

Intensive 25
25 lessons per week
If you are looking for a thorough, group-learning experience, you will find that this French course fits the bill! With extra attention given to oral communication skills, this course helps you make solid progress. The minimum duration for A1 absolute beginners is two weeks (аll stаndrt courses).
Standard 20
20 lessons per week
This course framework helps you acquire general French linguistic skills that can be readily applied to day-to-day life. Benefit by developing your core language proficiency and by still having plenty of free time.
Premium 30
Intensity and duration based on your needs
Providing a dynamic, in-depth approach to learning French, with specific classes dedicated to oral and written communication, this comprehensive class allows you to build your confidence and fast!

If you are looking to prepare for the official DELF/DALF or TCF French language exams, you should follow this course to ensure rapid progress and to build your confidence before the exam.

Alpadia Montreux can provide you with a variety of superb accommodation options in the beautiful Swiss Riviera region. From immersion with a local family, to independence in our studio apartment, you will be able to select the option that best addresses your needs.
Host family
Strongly recommended to students who want to progress rapidly and improve their fluency, staying with a French-speaking family offers a true taste of local life. With either a half-board or breakfast-only meal option, you stay in a single or double room, sharing the kitchen and bathroom with the family.
Student apartment
In Montreux there are two apartments available, offering either a single or double room. Both apartments are within 15-minutes walking distance to the school and include free internet access, a TV, a balcony, in-house laundry facilities, a shared bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.
Studio
Only 10 minutes from the school by foot, this lovely little studio is ideally located and provides you with total independence and privacy. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, TV and internet connection, the studio can also be occupied by couples or friends wanting to stay together alone.
Hotel and Bed & Breakfast
The Montreux region offers a whole host of hotels and B&Bs to choose from. If you seek alternative choices, we can propose options from lavish and luxurious, to quaint and cosy, by the lake, in the old town or in the nearby mountains.
